GOALS

To support the development of an enabling legal and fiscal framework for NGOs in Bulgaria;
To provide legal assistance and disseminate legal information to NGOs;
To promote transparency, accountability and proper internal governance of NGOs;
To strengthen and develop the capacity of NGOs in Bulgaria;
To encourage international cooperation in the field of not-for-profit law.

ACTIVITY

Providing assistance in identifying legislative priorities and in drafting legislation concerning NGOs;
Providing legal assistance related to the registration and activities of NGOs;
Organizing seminars and trainings on legal and practical issues related to the legal and fiscal framework of NGOs;
Maintaining a database of laws and other acts related to civil society;
Conducting research on the legal environment of NGOs in Bulgaria.
